Cardiovascular exercises
For an effective cardiovascular workout that speeds up your metabolism, here is a list of recommended exercises to improve your metabolism and get your cardio workout in on the beach:
- Alternating movements: perform quick side-to-side leg movements, alternating from one side to the other. Do sets of 30 seconds at maximum intensity, followed by 15 seconds of rest. Repeat 8 times.
- Jump Squats: start in a squat position and jump explosively upwards, extending your legs. When you land, return to the squat position. Do 3 sets of 15 repetitions.
- Sprints: choose a considerable distance, such as 50 meters. Run at your maximum speed to the end, then walk back to the starting point to recover. Repeat this process 10 times.
These exercises will not only improve your cardiovascular capacity, but also help you burn more calories and strengthen your legs. Remember to warm up before you start and cool down when you finish your routine.
